That looks a bit less than a Pokemon, which is good! I think the eyes are the reason behind your monsters looking like pokemons. In a nutshell, try to make different eyes. I would suggest to check Brave Frontier, Skylanders and Invizimals (did I spell it right?) for inspiration. Try to mix things with other things and see the results.

Do you use Windows Paint to make your comics? No offense, but you should use something else, nice comic though.

If you plan making him have multiple evolutions, it would be pretty cool to add some kind of fire armor for one of his evolution. Just don't add something like "throwing a ball to a monster" to your game, or else...

Nah, I totally get you on that. The idea right now is with cards, and avoiding throwing anything in general, I just wanna be extra cautious and get some extra opinions on the matter because Nintendo scares me lol
